Research Identifiable Files (RIF)
Select from the following types of RIF data requests:
NEW STUDY
Select this request type to request data for a new data use agreement (DUA). This includes:
- requests for new data files
- requests for reuse of data files from an existing DUA.
AMENDMENT to EXISTING STUDY
Select this request type to amend your existing DUA. This includes:
- requests for additional data
- requests for personnel or data security changes

Medicare Limited Data Set (LDS) Files
LDS requests do not require a ResDAC review and can be submitted directly to CMS by the researcher. Please visit the LDS page on the CMS website to learn about the request process.
